Fuel surcharge on packaged gases, liquid gases and CRYOSPEED®

Over the past months, BOC has experienced an unprecedented increase in the cost of fuel used to transport gases throughout our Australian and New Zealand supply chain.
Fuel prices have risen to all-time highs due to the steady increase in oil prices over the past months. As a result, BOC is unable to continue absorbing the cost of transporting packaged gases, liquid gases and CRYOSPEED®.
BOC is not involved in the production, storage or sale of fuel. However, as most of our product is transported by road in heavy, fuel-intensive metal packaging - high fuel prices have a significant impact on our distribution costs.
Therefore, because of this unprecedented increase in the cost of fuel, BOC is implementing what we hope will be a short-term increase in our packaged cylinder, liquid and CRYOSPEED® prices to offset the impact of this cost imposed in the form of a fuel surcharge.
This surcharge will be charged per cylinder and will be adjusted monthly, in line with fuel price movements. It will be removed when fuel prices return to normal levels.
The fuel surcharge will appear on a separate line on your invoice as a variable monthly rate.
If you use computer-generated ordering systems, you will be required to update your system to reflect the current fuel surcharge.
If you wish to be advised of the monthly rate on an ongoing basis, please Click here to join our mailing list.
We understand that unanticipated price increases pose a challenge for our customers, and we will keep you informed of material developments.
