Operating procedures to be applied in medical gas delivery have been defined in several international and national standards, for example AS2568, AS2896, AS3551, HTM-2022 and HTM02-01. Inspection authorities are taking an increasingly strong line on compliance. Insurance companies are following suit, setting higher insurance premiums if the correct standards are not applied.
